Description
Two queens poised for battle...
One a creature of creation,consciousness and time. Armor plated, horned and battle scarred, she is no beauty...but with every last fiber of DNA will fight to the death in order to protect what is hers and her children's future...
The other...sleek, elegant and chillingly efficient. Created by those that have been created. She has no consciousness,only programming, she does what she is told to do...and operates outside of time and has no concept of future..
In all warfare,good strategy determines the outcome. If you were to really stop and think for a minute, to put things in perspective a little...and to ask yourselves one vital question.....
With mankind having 7 civilizations and a little over 250 000 years experience in war (Fact), are you so egotistical to think you can outplay creation and her 16.2 Billion years worth of experience...?
She has a plan......
My second time round with C4D.This program is insane!!!It allows small sparks of creativity to become reality. I downloaded Bjorn Doring's (Bjodo) horned spider C4D scene available here on Renderosity. As soon as I saw it I had this project in mind. I loaded the scene and deleted everything but the spider which was then re-textured as was the silver one which is actually Poser's Black Widow. The Chessboard and pieces I created myself using primitives and a mishmash of imported objects.C4D's texture editor really shows its class when you look at the texture on the board...I wanted that leather under glass look and used a variety of mixed texture effects to achieve this. Slightly softened HDRI lighting and a filter give the image the bright but plush overhead lighting of an exclusive gentleman's club. Simple green tile flooring with subdued background lighting finishes it off.

You can't really appreciate the shear brilliance of your work here without studying it in full view. Even the small detail of the red on the silver queen's pincher is awesome, let alone your words! Max, I'm so impressed with this! Wow. An instant fav my friend!
