Description
A portion of a civil war monument dedicated to those who lost their lives who hailed from Bolivar, Tennessee. The small southern town, located on the western side of Tennessee, was named for the South American revolutionary leader Simon Bolivar, regarded as one of the principal liberators of Spanish South America.
Not really sure how/why his name was bestowed upon the small Tennessee town, but I plan or researching that before my return.
