Description
I know it a lake but it do have a lot of swamp parts to it. Here is one of many photos i took of the yellow flowers that covered the swamp part of this lake. I never saw so many. I post another one tomorrow to show the larger veiw of the area I talking about. I have seen these flowers here and there along the roads but never like this. Just image looking into the woods and seeing the floor of the swamp cover. [Do not walk out there you be knee deep in mud and gators is still there. I took a photo of one I post later. I may make a collage tomorrow to show more of the area I talking about. I do not have time to make it now.
My comuptor was acting up this morning. Uploading and installing updates is a pain. Takes long and most the time I have to unplug the battery of the computor for it will not come back up on it on. I waited one time two hours to did it on it own. Then I figure it out what to do lol I just wasted time.[still need to update the ones that fail to download right and install but not today lol; got about 30 of them lol]] I do not have much time today to comment but I get to what I can lol

look like flowers is in the swamp from spring to fall. Just diff colors and types. I took this two weeks ago.

This is great and worth the wait for full size image Jocko, I can see what you mean about the swamp, you think its safe to walk then down you go. I will stay here on dry land if you don't mind. All the yellow flowers look pretty and inviting but you don't know if mr croc is waiting under there. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Jocko, fine capture of natural beauty! One can see even the pine trees turn a bit drab in places as the light of summer wanes, yet the flowers you found add more than enough lively summer color back into this artistic work!!!

Gosh, I love the swamp! So much life in a swamp - both critter and plant life. This is so pretty with the swamp scum and the mounds of yellow flowers bending low over the water. Looking back under the trees where they begin to get thick, I can imagine how different it is in the shadows...gators, moccasins, nutria... so many things that go bump in the night and put a shiver down the spine of the weak-kneed. But to look at this beautiful photo, you wouldn't stop to think much about that. :-) A wonderful photo, Jock!

Sounds like you had a bad install. If it were mine, I'd just reformat the hd, and reinstall everything. Excellent view of a swamp & lake.

Beautifully captured scene Jock!! I went down to the nature reserve in the valley below my house yesterday, and took lots of photos of the lakes and the stream running through the woods.I then plugged my camera into my PC to transfer the images, but something went wrong and the computer wiped the camera's SD card so I will have to go there again on the next sunny day :)
