Not all moments are happy ones.
Abby was really quiet Tuesday. She quietly muttered "I love you Dave", a distinct difference from her usual exhuberant "ILoveYouDAVE!"
I thought maybe she was trying to stay awake during what is normally her naptime but it turned out she was miserable from a head cold.
While we sat in the parking lot waiting for her mother Nicki, I tried amusing her by quick snapping off a few shots and then handing her the camera -- she can scroll between photos and videos in Play Mode.
This was one of those photos.
Her gaze is so riveting I felt like sharing this with you.
Abby is going through a growth spurt. Looking at her solemn gaze, I can imagine the face of the 10-year-old to come.
Oh, and don't worry the Munchkin. I took Abby and her Mum to breakfast this morning. When Abby saw me she yelled "DAVE!ILoveYouDave!" and did her happy dance. So I guess that miserable cold is history (aside from a cutely drippy nose I did NOT photograph).

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww---I hate seeing kids sick I was a pediatric nurse for a long time (now retired) and I never got over the Munchkins being sick happy to hear that beautiful face is well now : hugs to you abbey!!~~
