Description

In principle there are no elephants around temples or bananas-sellers, but its not very practical It will ask a competent religious authority, but I supposed that yes All of the good acts made to a living being carries merits Okay, then you know me enough to know that the answer does not worry me too I love feed elephants, specially give bananas, I did not deprive me of that pleasure Elephants in Thailand and Burma are domesticated, and they work They are usually very well treated and it was right to a great bath in the river every day Here, they have one leg chained to not go away or injured people But there are few places in the world where we can approach the animals like that, touch them, play with them The technical, when you offer bananas is give must quickly withdraw his hand, otherwise they begin to chew also you hand But it is not dangerous, you see I have always two hands and it's been years that I do that! The last time I was in Thailand, I made a reportage about two of the five hospitals for elephants in the world, including the oldest one If you are interested, I would show pictures later And thank you very much to HUISMUS for http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1555631&member

Quote"The last time I was in Thailand, I made a reportage about two of the five hospitals for elephants in the world, including the oldest one If you are interested, I would show pictures later" Unquote I for one would be very interested, in the hospital for elephants. This is a wonderful capture, these look like young ones but I guess the younger they are the better they learn. They are after all, like our work horses, they must work to earn their keep. This I do not have a problem with. It is also good that you earn merits for giving bananas, you must have a lot of merits, giving banans and setting birds free plus putting gold leaf on the big rock. I am counting these merits, lol. The lady in this shot looks to be very happy feeding the elephants and to have her photograph taken, I think. Excellent image and narrative, it is always a pleasure to read a little of your adventure. Bravo!!!!!

This is a brilliant capture and a fantastic write up. I love the composition of the picture itself, and the quality of your writing is great, even in translation. You have such great philosophical and social perceptions. It's always a pleasure to read your work and see your images! Great work!

Yet another wonderful picture and story to go along side it. I think how marvellous it must be to visit these exotic and amazing places and cultures that I cannot imagine that I will ever see. Looks like it has been a Photographers dream. Thankyou so much for sharing these images. I also would be interested to see the Elephant Hospitals, please do upload pictures of this in the near future.

Thank you Mousson, you touched my heart. I have no problem with animals that are already domesticated, for a period of thousands of year’s people and animals work together. But I do have a problem with people that do the animals injustice. Again my English is not good enough to tell you exactly how and way. My circus was all about the fact that cities ban the circus in Holland that has animal acts in it. And my opinion was: that is not a good solution. Again, I know that there are many marvelous people that rescue everything they can; it’s a shame that they have to do that. Once there where theaters with so called freaks in it, thank the Lord that it happens no more. One day a circus without animals? Who knows? We can’t go back, I know, it’s to late, rescue what you can rescue. Or is it just a mater of evolution? I don’t know, and really, I don’t want to know. One day I tell you about a grizzly they shot in a theatre, I was just a bear. I knew that bear and he is still in my mind. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, it’s a great honor that you pay attention to my, sometimes difficult questions. And maybe I see it all wrong, maybe I am just an old fool, but a fool that has seen a lot. About the religion, I think it’s a very good attitude towards everyone. There is nothing new under the sun: is an expression in Holland. Some of us pay for a chair in heaven in Holland; don’t tell anyone I told you. LOL May the sun always shine upon you. Dirk Huismus And please do show that pictures you are talking about!
