Description

Win and cumulated merits for the next reincarnation is a big busy for all Burmese Build a pagoda (even tiny, that's why there he has millions everywhere), feeding mons , make offerings for Buddha’s statues, temples sweep, there is an infinite variety of forms One of them is to buy a bird and give it the freedom There are many vendors near temples and even in the city center People practices like westerns say if the people don’t bought birds for free, they would not be caught, put in a cage to be sold This is not to see the poetry and beauty of the gesture and life I love released birds without being punished Since I as a little girl, my father had horror of seeing birds in a cage "They were born to fly" and we released in secret But when I was doing it alone, especially among my uncles (brothers of my mother), which collected rare songbirds to participate in competitions, things cn be hot to me! So, I confess, I am a big buyer of birds Hold these fragile little things, thrilling and fear in the hand, open and launch the bird flies it is a wonderful feeling! Not only has nobody punished me now, as they admire my religiosity! In fact, I don’t want merit, the joy of releasing a bird after another is enough for me But in addition, my act, pure pleasure, is very well regarded and I pass for a serious person, very religious, which has accumulated a lot of merits! Please, don’t tell them the truth!

I bet the guy that cages the birds has a lot of bird feed at his house and when the birds are set free, they fly back to his place and hang out til the next time.

Fantastic image! Beautiful emotional sentiments behind the custom...as always, your stories and images are so interesting and beautiful and enriched with amazing emotional and Human touches. GREAT work and a GREAT presentation. The softer colors here are great, especially with the contrast of the red. Fantastic capture, full of dignity and a sense of emotional drama.
