Description

Another shot from the charming Port Isaac following on my my post yesterday.. As I mentioned the place continues its long tradition of fishing dating back to the 13th Centuary and I can vouch for the quality of it served in the local eating houses.. Though the streets are narrow one is called squeezeebelly Alley!!

I had to do a little reading on the web to fully understand this. I simply didn't think that this area might get enough water in it to float these boats! Oh My! But it does! That's amazing. I also found a reference to Squeezebelly Alley. That's one skinny little corridor - Sort of a claustrophobic’s nightmare. This is a really great photo - it made me want to learn more!

They can't choose to go fishing whenever they want it would seem:) Like the strongly colored boats, and the compo is flawless - excellent work!

On the mudflats the fishing fleet does not look near as noble as it did at Dunkirk. It's the same spirit.
