A bit more "realistic" than the last one... a lot of processing went into this (technically this is an HDR using CameraRAW in Photoshop - although i bet i could pull this from one RAW file using RSE) and there is something bothering me, but i wont say as it might ruin any viewing pleasure you might have :)
Thanks for your comments over the last few days, and thanks for stopping by for a looksie at this new one.
Enjoy!
Rich
PS - this one also looks very washed out on my screen, can someone confirm that? I'm looking for something along the lines of this. As i know that has a good contrast to it - although only froma print and looking at these damned screens...nightmare... Thanks.

Not so much washed out as pleasantly muted. If you went vibrant on these colors you would also go from a quiet and soothing view to a vibrating and excitable view. If you really are looking for high saturation then you are right...this is "washed out." Personally, I like it this way better on this subject from this pov. Maybe give us something more like the old/new shot you linked us to and then we will have a better idea of the correct level of saturation you seek.

Hey Rich, What's bothering me on this one is the lack of colour in the highlights in the tree tops (they are now grey) and that might be what is giving you the washed out feel. I think the contrast could maybe do with some increasing or saturation being increased. Otherwise I think it's splendid. Love the line of the tree leading to the other tree and all that :)
