Description
There were quite a lot of conceptual changes made to this from initial sketch to final piece… For example, I was first going with an acid/aquatic theme with her, but the more I was working on her, the more I thought she seemed… Infernal.
Had a blast working on her, though I believe I spent more time than I possibly should have making sure all of those spines and fangs were made to look razor-sharp and smooth. There was a lot more pixel-level shading done in this piece than most of the others I have completed, but it was well worth it in my opinion.

I liked the devil better but artistically this one is surely as good as the devil guarding the gates of hell! Deserves a lot of stars
