Description
Story:
A figure stands before the gate, his dancer-like frame decidedly relaxed in posture. He watches you approach with a calm grace, his expression flickering from bored neutrality to decided arrogance. The cool blue-gray eyes reveal that this confidence has been hard-earned, for all those who approach are sure to be cut down. The slight smile that graces his lips promise you that this time will be no different. No, there is too much at stake beyond those gates to allow his post to be compromised. The sentinel does not even bother to tighten his grip upon the two-bladed sword he manipulates so effortlessly. Firelight glints across the scales of his razor-edged tail as it coils smoothly into striking position...
General Info:
This is the first piece I have done this semester for my Independent Study class. My focus is in digital art, and my main goals of the class are to refine my digital technique and skills while applying what I know to breathing life into characters from my personal works.
