Description
I took this a while ago with my compact, from a commercial plane approaching Frankfurt airport from the east.
I guess I was extremely lucky to get a window seat on the right (or in this case left) side of the plane, have such a beautiful weather, and end up with a shot that wasn't affected by the scratches and dirt on the airplane window. But I guess a bit of luck is part of photography. ;-) :-)
My hometown is right across the river from the power plant, but try as I might I am not able to make out the house I live in. LOL.
As this shot holds a special place in my memory I am disabeling ratings for this picture, as I don't care all that much what ratings it receives. But if you want to leave a comment, feel free to do so. I figure ratings are one thing, but comments may be a bit of a different beast. :-)

Interesting to see the patterns of neighborhoods and fields along the winding banks of the river.

anytime one can get a picture this clear from a jet window, they are doing good.on a recent trip during my return the window interfered with my polarizer and I ended up with huge flares, making a very eerie foto.your town is beautiful but I would be nervous being that close to a nuclear reacter
