Description
Yesterday I went to some beautiful tropical gardens south of Puerto Vallarta. These were literally caved out of the jungle (the REAL jungle, full of all kinds of things!!), and are simply spectacular. I could've spent hours just wandering around, but my friend has a bad knee and I had to kind of stay with her. There was still plenty to see, and this orchid is just one of over 200 varieties they have. Most were not in bloom, that just means another trip another time!!

WOW...orchids happen to be among my favorites and this one is a spectacular capture. I especially love the way you captured both the colors and the shadows cast by the petals. The whole shot is beautifully framed. Fantastic work!
