Description
Brookwood Cemetery was consecrated by the Bishop of Winchester on 7 November 1854 and opened to the public on 13 November 1854. At that time Brookwood Cemetery was the largest burial ground in the world. Today this is no longer true, but it remains the largest Cemetery in the UK, and is probably the biggest in Western Europe. Since 1854, over 235,000 people have been buried here.

Wow that is an enormous amount of bodies buried there. This is an excellent shot, and like the touch of humour with your name on the sign :O)

Great capture David and again pretty good composition, but you have done it again with the top of the Crypt, the frame encroaches onto the building just cutting the top of the cross off. Top left of picture you have a wire waste holder that you could have either avoided or shopped out. Still the overall image is very good and I know the sign was the main object. I don't think there is anybody living on this St.Cyprian's Avenue. Bravo!!!!!
