Description

Made the room, so I guess I'll have to make a bunch of dancing images now. Don't really know anything about dance and ballet, other than I like watching it (not the silly stuff on primetime). Had a girlfriend many years ago that was into modern dance and I definitely liked watching her. There is a reflection of the reflection in the far mirror. I was tempted to turn the camera to see how many iterations of reflection Daz Studio does. You know, the barber shop phenomena of being between two mirrors and seeing into infinity. *** *** No, that's not me in the mirror. But if you want to see me dancing, look here. Forest Ballet

How long would the render take with the infinite reflection thing going on? An infinite amount of time, of course... I don't know about DAZ|Studio, but Poser's raytracing renderer has a parameter for the number of bounces to calculate. This is designed to stop this sort of infinite loop. Didn't you do an image with many reflections in it a while back? I can't remember what it was called, now.

OH I've been looking for a room like that for a while now. I can see a scene with couples dancing the tango. hmmmm Dave this is fantastic and I do a agree it is an excellent depiction.

WOW Dave! This is really beautiful!! I have trouble just getting a mirror to reflect one time, but you have really inspired me to give it another try! This is outstanding.. I would love to see the infinite mirrors! That would be awesome!!

awesome! FYI: number of reflections would be equal to your raytrace depth setting on the advanced render tab
