Description

"Genius is eternal patience." -Michelangelo Buonarroti (1475-1564) A passion flower vine worked its way into this closed blossom, almost as if it were trying to pry the flower open. I found that unusual, and worth taking a picture. Thank you for your great comments on my pomegranite photo, I may post some more from that yummy picture session. :)

How it is we all see things differently. I see this bud clamping down on this rope that it clings to for stability, strength, security and longevity. But either way, it is an incredibly awesome find and an beautifully taken shot.

Say, I didn't know the passion flower vine was predatory. That looks like the fingers of a glove grasping the closed flower. And, although fuzzy, I like that convoluted vine in the background. This is an amazing macro, indeed!

Neat DOF and tricky vines ! I actually thought the twisty bitz of vine were a Restaurant name and this was painted on the front window ! Neat and interesting capture ! ~Cheers~ :o)

I did have a bitter squash plant next the rose garden and it was trying it's best to take over the roses and the whole garden.beautiful flower and capture
