To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather

Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

That enigmatic smile leads me to believe she may have already returned and is reliving the experience, but not having seen the play I could be wrong.

"Obviously she hasn't gone to London yet :o)".....LOL! Love the frailty of her form against the solidity and density of the surroundings. And, again, your wonderful perspective, too! :)

Love it Mina. So simple and yet so powerful. And yes... things change:) Nice story too. Love the narrow palette. And it is a great composition.
