Description

Guadalupe Mountains National Park McKittrick Canyon Ok, no more national geographic explanations of the canyon...lol... :) Its part of the canyon wall. It looks like a great place for rattlers to hang out and warm in the sun. I found it interesting because of the different layers of rock and sediment. I debated with myself about posting it, one side of me won out! ...lol.. :) I not sure what that means! Let me know what you think. I resized and cropped this image. Look at the picture full size, for best view! All comments and advice are welcome. If you are seeing this series for the first time, I explain all about this place with the first four pictures posted. Thank y'all for all the comments and advice on my last post. Y'all are great. Todd

This is a very interesting shot. The colors of the rock layers are really rich and diversified. Glad you posted this... And yes, it looks like a place to admire from afar. I don't mind a nice regular snake but snakes with wedge shaped heads and pits are really better off hanging on my wall without a head and not so much a good thing sitting between your feet in the wild.
