Description

Guadalupe Mountains National Park McKittrick Canyon Ok, no more national geographic explanations of the canyon...lol... :) Here is some wildlife, that lives here all year, and does not ride a school bus back and forth, from El Paso... :) There were actually four of them, two doe and two fawns, but this is the only one that wanted to be photographed. The others stayed in the thicket until we passed on the trail. I resized, cropped and added borders. I lightened and sharpened the background picture. Let me know what you think. Look at the picture full size, for best view! All comments and advice are welcome. If you are seeing this series for the first time, I explain all about this place with the first four pictures posted. Thank y'all for all the comments and advice on my last post. Y'all are great. Todd

Oh deer... I do believe we know her California cousin... who, unfortunately did not survive a ride with my son. :-) Very good shots. I think the top left is my favorite. It is a great pose but all shots are excellent!

you were fortunate to have the opportunity and done a fine job.if you will point your camera toward the darker area and allow it to take that reading, then raise and shoot your intended target it cause the deer to have better lighting.and also you can increase your ISO to a higher setting. I have not had an opportunity to shoot any deer period.Saturday I seen one but it was deceased(car)
