Description

In Sanger, Texas, this morning, the parking lot lights and the dock lights were still lit as the sky was coloring in the east. My fill flash strobed the conspicuity striping on the sides of the trailers. All was still for just a moment. Arriving at distribution center, number 6068, from several store deliveries throughout the night, the hurry and bustle of millions of drivers, dispatchers, loaders, unloaders, and stockers who put good stuff on shelves seemed frozen for just this short time.

I love the typically (at least in my French eyes!) American touch in the way you take many of your photos. What a beautiful light and mood here, with an impression of space and liberty for each new day to be lived up. Well done, Tim!

Great composition. I like the dark, almost abstract shapes against that fantastic sunrise.

The calm before the storm, great shot!! Looks a little lonely, as well, I'm sure you feel that once in a while!!

Compelling shot with that dramatic sky~ I can't believe your flash reached that far (the full size really shows some distance)! If one has the time and inclination to notice it, there is always that sense of suspended time and motion in every sunrise. Magical!
