Description

I've had this picture of the USS Essex for several years, but never posted it because I couldn't get any kind of wake prop, but now I have some, thanks to spacebones. So here it is. Perhaps, not of the quality of picture that I usually do, yet I do like the overall design of the render. All the airplanes and the ship are by BeyondVR and are freebies at http://members.aol.com/beyondvr/dwnlds.html. He also has a number of great WWII naval ships for sale at Renderosity http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=476 and Content Paradise, which are of very high quality and detail. I highly recommend his products. Thanks for looking! Jeremy

Execellent pov and a great idea. My only crit is that you could/should broaden the width of the wake so that the whole area of the sea behind the ship, but no wider than the ship, is covered in turbulant water. Having witnessed the real thing on board ship I speak from experiance. Just my £0.02p

I agree with TheBryster about the wakes. Just didn't have anything that seemed to work and wasn't absolutely sure how it would spread out. There is some wake that is as he described it just behind the carrier, but it blocks anyone from seeing it, as it was fairly short in length because of the camera angle.
