FE & PS....full size, please Hi guys, Sorry for the repost...but...errr, can anyone tell me, please, why it is that I am finding so much disparity suddenly between the clarity and coloring of my finished images and how they appear on the site once posted? Thanks for looking. Nancy~* You are inked Mercurial You roll Penned Into my very skin

Ooh! This is a really eye-catching one! Very striking and beautiful. As for the discrepancy, does it happen on the previews (like this page) or on the full-size? I'm guessing that if it's on the preview pages that are showing smaller-sized versions there may also be downsampling of the colors (perhaps from thousands of colors to 256?)

No, Michael. It's happening with even my full size image. Checked compression as Elizabeth suggested, and I've changed nothing from this end. I'm constantly having to go into PS and slightly saturate each image more to get it to look even remotely how they've looked here on my monitor prior to posting. I'm seriously stumped here.

The words are wonderfully suited to the image! Although they stand so well on their own as well. Have you looked at your work from elsewhere to make sure your screen is OK?

Beautiful! Kind of a Goth feel to it, all wrought iron and black and red and just love it. It looks very clear and crisp to me, reds are red and blacks just right. but then I haven't seen the originals either. Have you talked to any of the 'rosity tech people? If it looks good before you send it, it should look just as good after it gets here. Have you had to downgrade them in order to meet the size requirements? That can rob them of their crisp brilliant look. That's the only thing I can think of. It isn't your monitor, if it was, the before sending image wouldn't look good either. I'm curious, let me know if you find the answer.

I missed this one somehow. It hurts like hot iron stamp on livestock. A solid trace of liquid action.

I missed this while I was away Nancy...it is just beautiful...what a great design and such lovely color...as for the color thang....well I have the exact same problem, as do some photographers and other 2D people I know...the funniest part of this is that when expanded to full view, an image goes back to the original color saturation. I am as stumped as you are about this...I hope all is well with you my friend..miss you Hugs and pink socks, Jilly

I hope you solved your display co-ordination issues by now...you're not alone, to be sure. But the image I see is exquisite. It looks like you've taken a fractal or something similar and solidified it; but your solidification is visceral and stunningly done. The texture is like fine molten plastics, hardened with all their undulations intact; or even chocolates which are truly sumptuous. (An edible upload!) And your use of reds against that dark chocolate brown or almost black is quite intense. But beyond that, you have these tiny lace-figures in the lower half, which fractionalize our vision into tiny colonies, but so viscerally and subtly that they appear to be tiny mosses growing on your image, or even tiny jewels. A fascinating profusion of images, all connected but separate. And for another 'random choice', I'm beginning to see you're clued into a sphere of great intensity a lot of the time; and if you turned these out many times a day, you might have a hard time forming sentences after awhile. Beautiful and sensuous all at once.
