------------- Tales of the Silver Gryphon - Mule Train
There was a shorter passage to return to the Elven Shrine, immediately to the west of them, by heading south. They collected their things and moved on. Through another tight corridor and into another large chamber, the far east side should hold the door out. Instead, the doorway that they had fought to find the key for was standing wide open. Up a small set of steps, they could see nothing but a burning brazier and the open hallway beyond. Standing at the base of the steps, a wide grin on her face and her swords at the ready, but apparently not for them, was the short, bubbly leader of the Mule Train, Mindy Briarwood, itinerate Bard and manipulator of men of low intelligence.
"Hey guys, thought you might like it if the door was open when you got here."
Saying that she held up a large key with a skull shaped handle and tangs the shape of boney fingers. In the eye sockets two small rubies glowed.
Shari pulled the skull key they'd collected from the Guardian of the Tombs below out of her pouch and dangled it between her fingers. Mindy looked at the key, smirked and stuffed hers back in her belt pack.
"Oh, I see you already have one. Oh well. Can we go now?"
Fallon sneered and stepped forward.
"Wait a minute, deary. I told ya alls ta stay in the Temple,… we'd be back fer ya. Whadda ya think yer doin'?"
"Well, we had a visitor, told us we'd need to get the door open for you, and where to find the key for this door. It used to belong to a Skeletal warrior sitting all alone in a big mausoleum off to the southeast. No problem for my boys. Carter's really good at pounding things with that big hammer of his."
Fallon ignored the little Bard's smarmy smile and reminded herself that they'd found the Mule Train in the Elven Shrine, a place no evil being could enter.
"I'm sure he is deary, but who was this visitor that could get into the Elven Shrine and could move about Old Calladon by 'isself?"

I am sure Fallon is thinking a bitch slap is in order. Upstart little hussy. Heaven help us that there is someone that knows what is going on and can get into the temple. I feel a headache coming on. It is a very nice picture and outfit. Very good work.
