Description

------------- Classic Beginnings

You awaken in a cramped position in a hanging cage. The bars are rough, but its too dark to see anything else. Getting into a precarious position and pushing with your legs against the bars, you manage to force them open enough to crawl out. Searching through the dark, your mind races. How did you get here? Who's responsible? What do they want with you? After fifteen minutes or so of searching, mostly crawling around on the rough wooden floor on your hands and knees, you manage to find a torch and a cardboard box with a single match in it. You get lucky and the torch lights on the first try. Looking around, you're not really sure where this place is. You don't know whether you're above or below ground. The room is filled with boxes and crates and chests, as though it were some kind of store room. You hear nothing from beyond the one door in the rear. You find two windows, but you see nothing past them but blackness. You try several of the crates and boxes, but can't manage to force any of them open. The chest seems to have a very heavy internal lock, from the looks and texture of it, its made of Drow adamant. In a small shelf in the back, you find a set of boots that don't fit very well and a single steel stiletto.

As your mind clears from whatever drug was introduced into your system, you remember a fight. Who were you fighting? And where is all your stuff? You have the slightest taste of mushrooms in your mouth and the smell of fungus and mildew in your nose. You remember that's the after effect of being knocked out by Drow sleep poison. But you have no visible wounds and nothing hurts, so somebody healed you, but who, and why?

What do you do next?

For all those that will invariably get a fantasy roleplaying action adventure game for Christmas,… I couldn't resist,… especially with Danie and Marforno's newest set released.

One or all of these. 1 Try opening the trunk by the back hinges. 2 try opening the windows. 3. Try the door last. Ooo makes me want to game today....

OK,... 1) The metal of the trunk is definitely Drow adamant, the hinges are apparently internal, and to pry at it risks breaking your only weapon, the stilleto. 2) There's no place to open the windows, they are solid pane, inset directly into the frames, no hinges, no slides, nothing. You try breaking the windows with one of the crates, but just manage to smash the crate and make a lot of noise. You're not sure, but you think you heard something outside, perhaps footsteps. 3) You don't have to worry about getting the door open, as whatever it is you heard just opened it.

In a place like that? Lol: you are in trouble, that's what you're in for! Nice 3D pic! Good work on the character design, her pose, her facial expression, the lights & shadows in the room. Happy New Year!
