Description

Talking to the Sunflower the other week and she told me her time had come. That her petals had lost their fight with the elements Wind and Rain and that she now has turned her back on the Sun and looks towards Winter. The only thing left for her to do was to scatter her seeds and then curl up and die, to return to the soil that sustained her through the Summer months. With that I said goodbye to the Sunflower. I am totally mad in case you didn't know already. Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are. Didn't post yesterday, I was busy with the kitchen, I put that much into it I've had three hypo's in two days. Nearly finished now.

Of course you're totally mad, my dear. That's part of your charm, and it's why we love you so. I love the light in this shot - it's just beautiful! Very nice work, my friend.

We all knew that anyway, Jeff. Thats why we all think your a good'n. I like this Jeff because its a different look at Autumn - without the splendour of what most of us would choose to upload, I mean the golden, yellow red and brown leaves for example. The words are very fitting to the picture. It does read that "SHE" (the Sunflower) "TOLD YOU" , this worries me more than YOU talking to the flower, so in my 'book' this means (and we must tell Mick), that the sunflower IS answering you back lol. Don't do too much mate !

Just tie a wire on the doors you messed up and say you broke lol tell her "See; it works the doors will open with the wires" [that will not go well with the wife] the sunflower knows when to go back to where it was and will return too next year

Super macro shot!!! I like the feeling of this photo, sad but yet contented, her job is done and now its time to sleep until summer comes around again and she can blossom again under the warm sun (how's that for waxing lyrical :-) ) Hugs PS Glad you liked Ol' Bruce :-)
