Description

Second post from last weekend's trip to Shiloh National Military Park. As the afternoon approached its end, an abundance of wild turkey and deer could be seen out in the fields that once had been littered with men and horses, casualties of one of the bloodiest battles in the American Civil War. But this day, less than a week before Thanksgiving, seeing all these turkeys was a reminder to go and purchase one from the grocery store.
