Description

This afternoon we paid another visit to Elmwood Cemetery, and while this obviously isn't your customary cemetery shot, the autumn foliage from the numerous trees that populate the area were in their full glory. So I had to make some time for them as well. This shot was taken while I was standing inside a maple tree, with small patches of direct sunlight making it through. I will always give in to a good back-lit autumn leaf. The colors appear luminous even in the bright sunlight! This is the second shot in my current autumn series. The first shot, taken at the Shiloh Civil War Battlefield is called It's Autumn, Deer. Worth a click! Thanks for viewing! marshall
