Description

Maple leaves. I wish I could show you the whole tree, the way it looks when you're standing there, but photographs just don't do it justice. The color of the leaves changes from the top of the tree to the bottom, like someone has faded the colors from red to gold as you go down, with a little green still around the bottom edges. It really is the most spectacular sight. Ah well. Perhaps a better photographer than I could capture it in all its glory. For now, you'll just have to imagine this gorgeous, almost perfect cone of leaves, twenty feet tall, standing alone, looking simply breathtaking. This is just a tiny sample of nature's pulchritude.

The northern hemisphere has such emotive leaves in the autumn. We have them here downunder, just not in the same abundance. Great photo.

Beautiful colors in this one. This could pass for a photo of a New England maple, and that's where the trees really know how to do fall colors. Well done, my friend.

Wow, your titles are almost as spectacular as this stunning capture, despite the widespread blotchy residue atop, of the glorious fall leaves. This shot almost falls into the category of abstract. Simply nonpareil, Tara!
