Description

The snow flitters towards the ground And lands upon a maiden. She brushes it off without a sound. The burden has been laden. The time has come to cross the roads And make one last decision, And where she’ll end, no one knows - But all have different visions. Many pull her one direction, Few are for the other. She, at an intersection, Wanders towards her lover. So it is, the teenage years, Becoming an adult. Everyone is full of fear, And wandering about. There she sits all alone Pondering her thoughts. Everyone will moan and groan And say of what she ought. Finally, the lady stands And silences the crowd. A big decision is at hand, An answer she has found. She does not choose either road But makes her own anew. The voices of those hard and cold In silence she did slew.
