Description
A black rose resides
In the center of the woods.
Not expecting passers by
To be picked no one would.
A girl on a journey
Wanders through the field,
unknown path without a worry
At the rose, she does yeild.
She reaches out to pick it,
But has a second thought.
Why end the life so perfect
That solitude has sought.
She rests in the field,
The lovely moon aglow.
When morning has been sealed
Her journey she must go.
At sunrise she awakes
And looks upon the ground
A gift that she may take
A spare the rose has found.
She wanders on her road,
A black rose in her hand.
Her dreams have been stowed
As she journeys through the land.
