Yes, the moon once again: this time using both optical and digital zooms until the moon filled the viewfinder.
I am amazed at this level of detail with so many craters visible... I don't own a telescope but this is making me wish I did as I've never seen such detail aside from some photographs taken with the aid of one.

P.S. I confess I do wonder just what the sky would look like through a telescope and perhaps have just chosen what I most want for Christmas should my funds cover it after buying this new camera. (disability checks sucketh as a means of income)

Its a good shot considering no telescope. I am wanting a telescope also to have a try at "moonshots" . not sure when I'll get one though ! nice shot.

if you were to make it smaller there maybe more detail to see. I have a large good quality flat screen but not able to see it well. I actually saved it and resized to 50% and the details shows much better.it is better than I first thought
