Description
Driving to work,
Damp, chilly morning,
Mellow music plays.
Didn't want to leave the house,
The warm bed,
The warm body, still snuggled in.
Stopped at a light:
The fog in the trees,
Damp underbrush,
Dripping leaves,
Bare branches,
Only enhances the mood.
The song ends.
Push the button
That lets you hear it once again.
Light changes.
Take a breath,
Leave memory behind.
Pull it together,
Put it in gear,
Drive to work.

Very profound prose Tara, I didn't know you were a poet as well as a first class photographer. You see I do have a serious side, and this is serious. An excellent poem(put it in a book), coupled with this misty shot, just shouts out. A very pensive mood. I think it's top notch, the poetry really makes it a fav, Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!
