Description
Thanksgiving turkey. It doesn't get much better than this!
I had a wonderful day with friends and family. We had a delicious dinner, laughed a lot, cried a little, and just generally had a fabulous time. (They made me promise I wouldn't post the picture of them with napkins on their heads, but they didn't say I couldn't tell you about it!) :)
Hope you here in the States had a great Thanksgiving, and that those of you elsewhere had a wonderful Thursday!

Had a great Thanksgiving here as well, all my kids were home with their significant partners, and we had so much fun, laughing, eating, playing, and thoroughly enjoying being together!!! I'm so glad you had a great time to, that's what it's all about!!!!! Great looking turkey!!!!!!

I wish I could come join you for a turkey sandwich with a dab of cranberry sauce on in because I'm hungry. We were invited to dinner at a friends house so I have no leftovers ...that is the downside of not hosting the dinner. But let's see ...hosting a dinner and cleaning house vs. no leftovers. I'll take the no leftovers.

OHH YUMMY YUMMY!!! I never tasted turkey. Slurp! It looks perfect to me. I can almost smell it and I am watering in my mouth. HEHE! Napkins on their heads LOL!

It sounds like you all had fun Tara and thats the main thing. The best way to celebrate is to have fun, as for the napkins, isn't that what they are there for? wearing on your head. Scrumptious looking bird, and the Turkey's not bad either. Like soulpainter says, how did you get it to sit so long for it's portrait? A bit late but I hope you all had a fantastic Thanks Giving. Bravo!!!!!

what a perfect looking turkey Tara. YUM! I'm glad you had a great day; I did too :) Lots of laughter but no crying -- came close though, as we all overate and were laying around moaning in sedated agony - I think that's the turkeys way of getting back at us. :-|

Beautiful! We had a smoked turkey, so although it tasted delicious, it wasn't with the wonderful glow of the oven baked kind. :o)
