Description

The shorter days of winter along with being sick for the last week is having an adverse effect on my time for photography, fortunately my backyard bird sanctuary has come alive with the birds of winter. A couple of days ago, probably ill advised I went out in the cold and took a few........... well, many shots:-). This shot is of a male and female American Robin and a Yellow-rumped Warbler. The Robins are frequent visitors; the Warbler is a first time visitor. Thanks very much for viewing and for your comments, Hope all had a great week and Holiday.

Such beautiful birds! So colorful. Ours are scrub jay, crows, sea gulls, a few finches, and many mourning doves. Oh, and I saw a black and white woodpecker one time on our tree. Unfortunately, that tree is gone due to we had it removed. :o( I love trees, but sometimes they are a menace. Anyway, your image is fantastic!! I love little birds, and would enjoy taking more pictures of them, myself. If I had the patience.
