Description
This is a Cedar Waxwing one of my favorite birds; this is the first year that they have visited me regularly in the 3 years I’ve been feeding birds, they are winter residents in Oklahoma. I was standing about 12 feet away from my bird bath when along with some Robins 2 Cedar Waxwings came down for a drink I was so surprised that I just stood there and watched them for a second before I remembered my camera, by the time I took the shot one of them had flown back to the tree, LOL. Hope all has had a great weekend, Thanks for your kind words while I was sick, don’t know what it was just glad it’s gone, Thank you for viewing and for your comments.

Very nice. The shadow separates him from the background nicely.

I love these birds too! We had a small flock come to our yard a few winters ago and they stripped our ornamental crab apple trees as well as our holly bushes. Beautiful birds!
