Description
This is for a dear friend of mine Mandi Blais aka (Blankfrancine)who has been with me since the very start of my postings here. Mandi has always been kind and supportive to me when I really needed it, as well as being a inspiration through her creative work. Check of it out at www.mandisdreamtime.org
Bronco's Bath Day: My nieces were helping me give little Peppie a bath this weekend when I told them about how their Mom & I used to have our hands full trying to bathe a dog we had when we were little named Bronco. He was sort of a mut but very loveable except for when it came time to give him a bath. I told my 3 nieces how I would get in the little pool and tug on his leash while Veronica would push as hard as she could constantly asking me if he was in the water yet. LOL
Of course our Mom would look on laughing up a storm. After all helping us would have ruined her fun apparently. Well this is my attempt to try to bring that memory to life for my nieces and pay tribute to a dear friend at the same time. Hope your not tired of my silly childhood stories. Thanks so much and hope for smiles :)

I've never had that problem, every dog I ever had would chase the kids out, then lay in the pool :-) Bathing was eeasy afer that :-)

Dave, this is so cute!!!! That's the way we have to get my horse into the wash stall to give him a bath!!! Horses do not like water even though they stand outside in rain.

It seems the dog doesn't really want to have a bath!!LOL I had a cat who liked to crawl at night in every bin and sometime in winter she came home full of ashes, out of the bins. So I had no other choice than to give her a bath and she behaved like this dog!!!LOL Marvelous captured again Dave!!! Hugs Ute

Awww Dave I could never tire of your childhood stories, and I love this composition so very much, having lived with many dogs all of my life :o)) This is a fantastic work and I just love the expressions and the poses, with great shadowing. I used to have a very large dog many years ago, she was a Newfoundland and loved water, the breed are known for their water rescue talents having webbed feet. Well this one we could not get out of the bath, and many a time I would have to put a trail of biscuits from the bath in order to tempt her out LOL Keep up the great work Dave - hugs Jane xx
