Description

I started working with the digital elevation maps for the tetons over a year ago now but had put it off for a long time once I realized how hard getting the materials right! The DEMs were only 10 meter, so I applied some erosion and other affects after exporting the dem to a vob (3dem was what I used to combine the dems into one big one) After that it was a matter of the textures. I know these aren't perfect but I'm happy with them for now. The displacement mapping is what makes the render take so long. Suggestions? Comments? Thanks for looking.
