Description
Captured 10/3/07 in the very early morning, somewhere within walking distance of my domicile.
This is the bark of a pine tree, which are located all over the place around town.
Have a whiz of a work week!

I like you style a way you capture these barks. This looks like set up with a razor sharp edges. Love the orange tone cast by a sun and a vertical crop works so well.

The hookers down by the library used to walk past the men on the park bench and contemplate the state of the bark. I eventually figured out it has alphabet significance to counter the prevailing USMC lore.

Brilliant texture, it really looks like stone. I would've cloned out the little green shoot in the corner, it's really not big enough to be a feature in the shot.
