Description
Captured 4/24/07 around 8:10 AM, along the outside of the south wall of my condominium complex.
These flowers do not appear to be your regular garden variety of rose. The branches sport some large thorns but most of the others are teeny weeny and hardly perceptible, unless you're really looking for them. Also these roses bloom in comparatively large clusters, as opposed to the regular kind. They grow elsewhere in the city, and as far as I've been able to discern during my excursions, they are all pure white in color.
Thanks for dropping by!

These roses may look unsophisticated and close to their primeval counterparts, but they are more authentic and powerful in their simplicity. An excellent capture you've done here, bravo!

Beautiful shot!!!

Lovely trio of snow whites. The garden roses I have are very nasty with the same thorns you describe. The payback is they are the most fragrant rose I've ever encountered.

Fantastic rose shot. I saw roses here in all kind of color except white. Your picture bring this beauty to the highlight to adore.

Beautiful white roses, you've captured them splendidly. I think I see these growing around here too, quite often in public landscaped places.

An absolutely stunning capture of these beautiful white roses, my freind! They appear to be closer to an original wild rose than to a fancy hybrid. I love that simple, open look. Spectacular image!

What beautiful roses they are too they look so big and fluffy

They are not mildew resistant either and I would think if they have 3-15 blooms per branch they would be florabunda and if tall and spralling with bunches of blooms, a grandiflora. A shrub or landscape rose bush will be close to the ground or used like a low hedge with clusters but this appears to be probably a florabunda. Very beautiful BTW and you did a great job here. I had a lot to work with in identifying the type. :-)
