Have I mentioned the amazing light at my brother's house? (Probably every time I've posted a picture I took there!) Even the most ordinary objects look special in that light. Strictly speaking, this isn't actually a trivet since it doesn't have three legs, but it serves the same purpose. It keeps hot dishes up off the table.

Good heavens! The shield of Beowulf! Actually, trivet is what frogs utter repeatedly. A fabulous work of craftmanship. Excellent POV employed and wonderful clarity, colors, textures and lighting effects in this shot, Tara!

I got one of those thingys in the kitchen!!But mine's made of wood, and it isn't lit as nicely as that one...I love the lighting!
