I was born in Zimbabwe on 03/06/88. My family, consisting of parents, older brother and sister, migrated to South Africa when I was six months old. We moved back to Zimbabwe six years later, to help my grandparents on their farm - a career change for my father.
After a measly eighteen months we upped sticks and went farming on our own. This led us to Kwekwe, in the heart of Zimbabwe, to farm tobacco! Borrowdale farm which is part of the "Midlands Black Rhino Conservancy" is where we settled . This was the most incredible experience, living with such an abundance of wild life ........... of which we became a part of during the school holidays! Due to the "land redistribution policy" we had no option but to move on.
10th November, 2001 saw us arrive in New Zealand with our former lives packed into a suitcase each, ready to start our new lives. Our first three years were spent on the South Island and I nearly froze!!!!!!! A great employment opportunity for my father had us move up to the North Island. I now live on a farm just outside Matamata aka "Hobbiton" (defrosting).
Yep that should sum it up ha!

I think this is rather classy! It reminds me of the greek statues like Constantine. Love the green eyes... very bright and clever looking. Um.. your nose looks like any other nose when you get that close! LOL. Great job, Kai.

Cool shot! Good luck at the party shoot, I've seen your gallery, you are not going to have any problems with drinking 21 year olds. Todd

Seriously there is nothing wrong with your nose, really like you photo avatar before and I like this one too :)

Your nose is your nose. I started life with a genetic lump on mine. Then my boyfriend, back in my 20s, broken my nose by dropping a gooseneck wall lamp on it (don't ask...LOL) and then I was pulling his boots off one evening and one slipped off too easily and my face was leveled, breaking my honker once more. You can no longer find the genetic lump... ...and then I have a slight hunch to my upper back - totally hereditary. I figured that out when I visted my brother after a 2-year absence and saw he was beginning to resemble Quasimoto! Can tie his shoes now without bending over he can. As for the photo gig... if you don't drink, you are doing the job for free...a volunteer. That means no pay and no excuse (as you point out) for less than perfect shots. I say, belt a few back about mid-way through and enjoy the celebration. :-)

Please you take a bad photo Ha! Hay with eyes like that you don't have to worry about your nose it's fine! You should know close up photos only focuses more on what you might see as a flaw keep up the fine photos!

Your nose wouldn't look so big if you had included your mouth in the shot...

Your green eyes look wonderful so I don't notice your nose. Great shot and I like the texture. Enjoy the shoot.

I never plan to drink, but it just happens anyway, lol. This is marvelous, Kai! A bit creepy but absolutely brilliantly postworked. I love the effect you've achieved. I hope to see you do more work like this, and maybe one day you'll even tell me what you did so I can try it myself. This is right up my alley, lol. Hope all went well with the shoot. Big hugz -M :^)

All honkers look big when people do shots like this. I don't think you have any worries. My father has a true birds beak and even he dosent give a rats and I don't notice because of that ;) Really good post treatment on this thats given it a raw grungy effect
