Description

This was taken just this morning, right when the snow storm here in Minnesota began. Oh, that wind was cold, and the sleet on my face HURT. Anyway, they sat on the half frozen over lake, in a huddle, and periodically they would lift their heads and squawk at each other (or me lol) .. and they'd tuck themselves in their feathers again. They were quite a distance away from shore, so I did what I could..and of course, there's always the postwork I always do. Hope you are having a nice weekend; thanks for stopping by!! Shari

Wow Shari! This morning I was tucked up nice and warm in bed, I didn't surface until 9:30. I woke up much sooner but just couldn't be bothered to get up(I'm a lazy sod). No snow here yet and I don't even know what the forcast is. Great shot you got anyhow, you are either brave or a little mad(in the nicest possible way) and I think its mad. The things we do just to get a picture. Excellent shot and postwork as always. Bravo brave you.!!!!!

Hardy Minnesotan! :| I bet you all are hardy and tough. Very good way to start the winter making good use of these opportunities. Well done, it looks like a wonderland.

I think your shot is wonderful. I can't believe they done fly south or something! Well done for braving the cold. I love the reflection the most in this shot, it's kind of like something you'd see in a fairy tale book and honestly it bring thoughts of the story 'The Ugly Duckling'.
