Description
well today is the xmas carnival for the kids jazzband so we are travelling north to seaham for most of the day .
this is the path along the river that we walked with max who you can see up ahead .this suspension bridge was put acoss the river about 4 years ago now .it was put in when the rebuilding of the appartments ,offices and university was finished .you can walk straight across the bridge straight into the shops in the town centre .june does`nt like this bridge as it moves quite a lot lol :o)
jeff you are right about the ship being between 2 bridges although there are now 3 .it was originally between victoria bridge already posted and the princess diana bridge a bit further up from this bridge today .of course now this suspension bridge is more or less in the middle of the other 2 now .

I like the lone gull on top of the second lighting column Mick, keeping a beedy eye on Max. A great shot, it's nice to see regeneration in places that have been allowed to fall into dissrepair. I'm sure it is a great improvement from what was there before. Our Town is doing the same in certain inner area's, close to the center of Town that is. Just like you're area Mick, the canal has been reopened to traffic and there are old mills being done up for residential and commercial use. I like this and Like Tara I would love to have a walk across the suspension bridge, I think I have more chance of it than Tara though, as I'm a lot close then her. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

one heck of a bridge for foot traffic.seems like all countries are trying to best each other on bridge designs, and I think France is ahead with the one in the southern part for height and length. excellent capture
