Description

It was one of those beautiful after the rain days, here in Southern California, so I was out photographing the sky and clouds; when all of a sudden I noticed the antennae on my roof. I remember Auntietk's satellite picture, "How Much Is Enough?" , and thought what a contrast to that this is. Not modern at all and only one. LOL. That was my bit of amusement and inspiration for the day. Thank you for viewing and commenting on my previous upload, "Sun and Nectar" . Have a Wonderful day! ~HUGS~

Excellent capture. Too bad that of I think February of 2009, they will be useless in the USA. Great POV.

Ummmmm, if you think that's old fashioned, you should see the elaborate rabbit ears setup on top of my two television sets. Living in a condo complex, I have no roof antenna, and, as you can infer, no cable or dish antenna. Anyway, fine POV, clarity and geometry of the antenna, contrasted against the post-rain cloudy sky.

Do you know how hard it is to find one of these? I finally gave up and bought a dish... I only watch 6 channels but without a decent antenna you don't watch anything at all. :-)

I have had several in the past and they always get damaged from Texas storms so I quit using them. they still work fine in some areas(but not Dallas) and beats paying the cable bunch.excellent reminder of simpler times
