Looking East from Seattle. The hill you see in the near field is Mercer Island, and those are the Cascade Mountains in the background.

So pretty! I love the gradient in the sky, and I love the fact that it's natural, not from PhotoShop. When I first saw this I wondered if it was current, and how you could possibly by outside the storm that's been hammering us, but the phase of the moon gave it away.

Oh my, Dennis and I think alike and that should be VERY scary for him. I was admiring the picture, and especially the moon, when it dawned on me that this isn't tonight's moon. This is a really beautiful shot.

The gradients in the sky are one of the main attractions in this picture.. Mayby I am wrong but is this caused by smog in this case ?
