Description
Oil on canvas 16x20 inches. From a painting by John Constable. I've wanted to do this painting for a while. Not really a copy, it's my version using the original as a model. Hadn't painted for a while so this got me going. Might do more to it. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thank you all for your comments, they are encouraging. Drifterlee, I do have Vue 5 Infinite, and I do like it, but I'm going more 2D these days, it's more direct and easier to keep up to snuff. 3D requires better and faster computers to keep up with the developments(or long render times), I'm using Photoshop and Corel Painter more. I like Dogwaffle and ZBrush too. I use 3D to make parts for paintings.

Nature is hell to paint, all those leaves ahh!!! The only suggestion I’d have is keep at it and don’t despair too much;) Nice light on the house.
