I came to Canada (from England) in 1957 at the age of 7 (almost 8) and have been here ever since. My passions are philosophy, science, music, and of coarse art. I have been painting in oil and acrylic for 40 years and now work as The Painting Doctor restoring paintings. Sometime around 1994 I got a computer and Corel Draw which led to Poser and has led to all the other incredible graphics software available to artists these days. My main software now is Poser, Vue, ZBrush, Photoshop, Dogwaffle, and Painter with my Wacom Tablet. Well I finally got highspeed (June 08) so I'll be around more often now. I have learned a lot here from other members and like most I keep climbing the ladder. See you on the curve someday, bye for now.......rog

trying to go back through your gallery... yes you captured the fleeting light. It almost has a Turner feel, a painting that seems to emerge out of a twilight world of intense lights and recesses. But this is yours, it's not dramatic so much as inward & reflective...you've captured the horizon's light as a revelation but not a domineering one; the rest of the work is bathed in the deep hues of late evening (very reflective); and your land & trees has just the right amount of detail & dissolve, as if the world itself were dissolving into this night. It's beautiful, kahshe, and another one of your inward delicate visions.
