Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand held image. I have a couple of images of this species of grasshopper but this one is the best by far. He/she is a very elegant looking individual and dressed for his surroundings, lol. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

I don't know who named this critter but it sure fits. Excellent capture, I don't know how you spot half of them Lee, they fit into their surrondings so well. Bravo!!!!!

It's incredible to see how inventive mother Nature is, isn't it? Perhaps what makes this variety even more spectacular is that it's also there when we don't pay attention. Another superb work, master Leeco!
