"If a photograph can in some way capture even a small essence of a moment in time, she has done something magical." ~ Theo
I see that I was not the only photographer inspired by the beauty of the Morikami Japanese Gardens. I somehow doubt though that he was seeing things quite the way that I was. ;'] Infrared capture, again with the Red and Blue channels swapped in Photoshop. Best viewed full size, I dedicate this to all of the photographers here at Renderosity. -----

Your technique + your keen eye = fantastic!! It makes me think more about the different visible spectrums that other creatures see in, or for that matter, that WE see in... I have always maintained that just because we may both agree on a color we call orange, doesn't mean we actually see the same thing. Even within our own species, we have varied levels of color deficiencies in some peoples vision. The scientist that was in the true story made into the film "Awakenings" with Robin Williams, supposedly wrote a book about and island in the U.K. where all the occupants of the island are truely "Color blind", they only see in shades of gray!!! So I would agree on many levels, no one sees what you see my friend, that's what makes your images so special!
