Description
We are on the other end from where we started. Crossing over the crater floor was easy. The challenging part was returning to the top of the crater rim thru the rain forest and back to where we started from. The walls are about 400 ft high with a steep trail to climb. Challenging indeed, my friend. I know from personal experience what it's like to just walk across this stuff, let alone climb 400-foot ridges. And I'm still impressed by the amount of green in such a recent flow.
