Description

This one speaks for itself, It may look a lot but my computer is on it's own ring. For those of you that do not know what this means. We have an Electric meter and a wiring box, inside the box there are fuses rated for each ring, your down stairs lights have one, your upstairs lights have another, your downstairs sockets have one, as does the upstairs, the cooker if electric has it's own and showers usually have their own. When my space was being created, I made sure it was not on the downstairs sockets ring, it has its own, with a large rating. Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make. May the sun shine down on you, where ever you are.

RE Christmas Lights. I have just paid my Electricity bill for the last three months, it came to £254.34p, but I would hate to have his bill, especially has they are up and lit for about a month or longer. A tad OTT for me but an excellent capture Aled as is the postwork. I can see why now LOL..

Got it! You've put your computer on a separate breaker. Thanks for explaining - I was able to translate. :) I love it that you can plug stuff in right there where you can reach it. I have to crawl around under my desk with a flashlight. This is very cool! It's nice to see you're all moved in and life is good.

Its not a "girl thing" Diane ! Spaghetti everywhere here too. BTW. Jeff you used to work for the Council, I phoned them to come and do an electric repair this week, the guy said Friday morning is that ok?, I was happy with that. He checked with a collegue, came back and said this job needs to be done in daylight it'll have to be PM. I'm therefore staying in all day and worse than that it will still be dark by 12noon according to them. Also miss the CLUB . Sorry I've gone on, but I had to tell someone. lol.

Marvelous! Your wires look much better than mine here. If I disconnect them it takes a lot of time to connect them again, I should have labeled them. Exelent capture!

I'm giggling! I'm so amused! I thought I was going to burn the house down with my plugs and cords. I bought 2 of these long power strips last years when I realized I had so much electronic equipment in one spot that one 3-holer would not do the job any more. I can't imagine having this much to plug in though. You got me beat by at least 5 plugs! :-) I know you must enjoy all the technology that hangs on the other ends of these cords. :-) Ring or no, I am constantly blowing out my electricity section by section through the house with my multiple chargers and transformers. :-)

when I was a child our home only had 2 fuses, but then again it was a very small house.the fuses did blow out quite often, especially if the fridge and iron was on the same fuse.after many years of hand washing my mother was able to get an old used Maytag wringer washing machine.she would turn everything off so the fuse would not blow .later when she was able to get a evaporator cooler, everything had to be off except the fridge
